Mangalore: Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Bengaluru police have arrested two foreign nationals who were allegedly involved in drug peddling in connection with Dancer Kishore Shetty Drugs case. They were reportedly supplying drugs from Mumbai and Goa to Mangalore.
One accused has been identified as Shyam, Nigerian citizen and resident of Kengeri, the total number of arrests in connection with a drug case in Mangalore has risen to 8.
After the arrest of dancer Kishore Shetty, Akeel Nousheel, Tarun Raj, Aska of Manipur, Muhammad Shakir and Shan Nawaz were arrested earlier.
The police are conducting an intensive investigation and over the past few months have been raging a war against drug peddling in the state.
