Mysuru (Karnataka): Irked over a family dispute in his sister's family, a man chopped his brother-in-law's hand, eventually killing him, and brought the severed hand to the police station at Gausiya Nagar in the city on Sunday. Kadeer's sister Rubina was married to one Mohammed Saran, 27, five months ago. But the couple were always at loggerheads.
When their quarrelling reached beyond a point, Rubina's parents intervened to settle things between estranged couple. But Kadeer who was angered by this frequent quarrelling attacked Saran and chopped his hand. He collected the chopped hand in a bag and went to the Udayagiri police station. Meanwhile, Saran died due to excessive bleeding from the injury.
Police recovered the dead body of Saran and a case has been registered in this regard.
