Bengaluru: Coronavirus numbers are on the rise after unlocking the city. Despite calls for another lockdown, the government has said that it will take strict action instead of locking down.
Bengaluru Police commissioner Bhaskar Rao said that strict action will be taken if shops, malls, banks, hotels, offices, and other establishments in the city violate unlock guidelines.
Taking to Twitter Bhaskar wrote, “All of you are already aware of precautions to be taken. If you do not implement mask-wearing and ensure a safe distance, City Police will raid and initiate legal action. This has already started.”
The number of infected people is increasing day by day. The police are on the verge of a legal inquiry.
