Mangalore: Prakruthi Ashok had to suffer an irreparable personal loss before her PU Board examination but came out unshaken securing a score of 92%.
The gritty student lost her family in a road mishap near Sullia in Dakshina Kannada during September 2019. They were on their way to visit Prakruthi who was studying in Excellent Pre University College in Moodabidri.

Following her tragic loss, Prakruthi was giving care and love by the college administration. They tried to keep her on track to achieve good results in the upcoming examination. The teachers and her friends also ensured she never felt left alone in her moment of grief.
The PUC exam was conducted from March 4 to March 21 but due to the coronavirus related lockdown, the last paper, which was to be conducted on March 23, was postponed and was taken up on June 18.
