Children have been deprived of getting online education amid the COVID-19 pandemic due to the electricity problem. Following that their education was hampered a lot, said Sakreppa Jadhav a resident of Yedalabavi Tanda.

Jadhav also said, "There is no electricity in our tanda for more than six months. People are scared of scorpions, snakes. They used to light a fire to get out of their residence at night".

"No government officials came to visit our tanda to solve the issue even after we had appealed several times to the government," said Jadhav.

Besides, there is no concrete road as well as no drinking water facility available but the Karnataka Development Board (KDB) is not bothering about anything. The government should focus more on the development of such villages.
