Hubli: In backdrop of Hubli sedition case, four other Kashmiri students who were studying in KLE Institute of Technology were sent back to their native place in Kashmir on Wednesday.
The college administration took this precautionary measure as they were being mistreated by other students owing to the recent sedition case faced by their college mates.
Three students from the same college were arrested on sedition charges for allegedly raising pro-Pakistan slogans and posting a video of it on a messaging platform.
The action was taken on the basis of a complaint from the college management.
On February 18, they were shifted to Hindalga Central Jail, Belgaum from Hubli.
The action came after members of right-wing organisations staged demonstrations outside the police station on Sunday when they were released before they were re-arrested.

The accused were also assaulted by the members of right-wing organisations which instilled fear in them, leading to them being shifted to Belgaum.
A total of 7 students had taken admission in Hubli's KLE Institute of Technology under the government quota.
