Bengaluru: Speculations are being made that BS Yediyurappa has made up his mind to resign from the post of Karnataka Chief Minister as a series of unpredictable political phenomena taking place at the helm as the BJP government is completing two years in the state. Recently, CM Yediyurappa met Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda. Top sources of the BJP party said that after returning from New Delhi he has decided to say goodbye to the CM position.
It will be two years since the BJP government came into existence in the state on July 26 and Yediyurappa was sworn in as the Chief Minister. Yeddyurappa will resign as CM after completing his two-year term. Against this backdrop, Chief Minister Yediyurappa has called a BJP legislative party meeting on July 25. A banquet will be arranged for all BJP MLAs and ministers at the time as he would like to thank the legislators and ministers who helped him in governing the state.

Speculations are being made that CM Yediyurappa will tour his home district Shivamoga and Shikaripura before disembarking on his post as Chief Minister next week. Chief Minister Yediyurappa has called a Cabinet meeting on the evening of 22 July, seeking to make some significant decisions during his tenure.
