Bengaluru (Karnataka): A dead body of a 17-year-old boy was found on a footpath near the Sanjayanagar bus stop in Bengaluru today morning.

The deceased identified as Rahul Bhandari, a student and resident of RT Nagar in the city, had gunshot wounds on the head raising the suspicion of a murder.

However, the police are also not ruling out suicide angle. The police have taken the mobile phone found from his pocket for investigation.

After receiving the information of the incident that happened at around 5am on Friday morning, Sadashiva Nagar Police led by DCP Anucheth reached the spot.

The boy was a bright student and has scored 90 percent in his matric exams, and there was no pressure on him for the studies. The boy used to wake up at 3am every day for studies and would go out for a walk at around 4am.
