Chamarajanagara: A lizard was found in the mid-day meal of the students at a government primary school in Kestur, Yalundur taluk on Tuesday.
A child identified the lizard on his plate and informed the teacher. Immediately alarmed, teachers stopped the children from having lunch.
Talking to ETV Bharat over the phone, President of Ambedkar Youth Association Kumar alleged that the school's headmasters and the culinary staff were responsible for this. At one time, everyone was concerned that eating a full meal with a lizard would be a disaster.
Officials still have to be wary of accusations that the kitchen has no proper doors and no cleanliness.
