Reports indicate that the sounds of rockets have disrupted sleep for many, leading to heightened levels of exhaustion and fear. The situation in southern Lebanon remains dire. Entire areas have been reported as completely destroyed, with buildings collapsing under the intensity of the strikes.&nbsp;As the conflict continues, the need for humanitarian assistance is growing. Police in Bengaluru has arrested a man accused in the rape and murder of a girl in the Byadarahalli Police Station range. The victim had come to the city to pay an instalment of the pending college fees.Bengaluru: Police in Bengaluru were successful in arresting the accused in the rape and murder of a girl. The incident took place in the Byadarahalli Police Station range.   The girl, who had come to study in Bangalore from another state, had taken admission in a private college. She had come to the city to pay an instalment of the pending college fees.The victim came to the city and contacted the accused, a friend. The accused asked her to come to his room in Vijayanagar where he raped and murdered her.Also read: Girls trafficked from Jharkhand rescued in Tamil NaduThe accused later took her to a private hospital claiming that she was his friend and she had lost consciousness. The hospital staff did not buy his story and filed a case in Byadarahalli police station. Byadarahalli police took accused in custody and are investigating the case.
