Bengaluru (Karnataka): Though supervillain Thanos from the Marvel Universe wanted to erase half the living things in the universe, the popular antagonist in Bengaluru wants people to wipe out all viruses off their hands.

In a bid to spread awareness about the precautionary measures against COVID-19, renowned Bengaluru artist Baadal Nanjundaswamy, has painted a mural of Thanos holding a soap, urging people to wash their hands to stay safe from the virus.

In the Marvel Universe, while Thanos wanted to erase half the living population in the universe to create the 'perfect balance', the supervillain's mural in Bengaluru seems to urge people to erase all viruses, and not just half, to protect themselves from infection.

"Wash hands, save yourself!" tweeted Nanjundaswamy.

However, Thanos is not the only character from popular culture on Bengaluru's walls to educate people about COVID precautions.
