Bellary: COVID patient giving hopes to others in VIMS hospital by teaching Yoga

A Coronavirus positive patient Chaanda Paasha who is admitted in VIMS hospital in Bellary district is teaching yoga to other patients to spread positivity.

Bellary: There is a spike in the number of Coronavirus Cases in the Bellary district and most of the infected patients are admitted to VIMS hospital in the city. To make these patients cheerful and happy during such a hard time one of the COVID-19 positive patients Chaanda Paasha teaching them yoga.

Paasha tested COVID-19 positive a week ago and was admitted to hospital. He is a Member of the Municipal Council in Kampli in Bellary district.

After admitting to the hospital, Paasha is doing a great job by teaching the yoga asanas to other patients and also encouraging them to be hopeful.

"Many in the hospital ask me that despite being a Muslim, how I learnt Sanskrit Shlokas. I answer them that more than a Muslim, I am an Indian," said Paasha.

Every morning, Paasha takes the yoga session for all the patients to teach them different yoga asanas to boost their immunity and calm their mind. Along with this, he chants Sanskrit incantation to reduce stress and teaches the Sanskrit Shlokas.

Paasha makes Kashayam (water decoction) for himself and also provides it to other patients to help them increase their immunity power.

Pasha says that COVID can be worst in the upcoming days but we all need to be brave enough to fight it. With the strong will power, we can overcome any situation, he said.
