Bellary (Karnataka): A young man suffering from alcoholism Monday found himself stuck in a crevice between two massive boulders as he tried to escape an alcohol de-addiction camp held in Karnataka's Bellary district.
Devendra, hailing from Huligi area of Koppal district, was admitted at the de-addiction camp by his family members, but after four days into the programme, he tried to escape the camp and found himself stuck between two boulders.
He was spotted by some locals who in turn informed the local police.
It took four hours for the fire tenders, home guards and other people involved in the rescue operation to free Devendra from the crevice.
The man suffered minor injuries and is undergoing treatment in a local government hospital in Bellari.

The de-addiction camp was organised by the Karnataka-based Shrikshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Association in Srirama Avadhuthara Math in Bellari's Hampi village.
