A couple consumes poison while travelling to Udupi

A couple allegedly consumed poison while returning to their home town Udupi in Karnataka by bus. The couple was travelling with their one-year-old child. After coming to know about the incident the bus driver rushed to the hospital. The present condition of the couple is critical.

Udupi (Karnataka): While returning from Andhra Pradesh's Kolluru to Udupi, a couple allegedly consumed poison inside the bus, police said on Thursday.

Rajkumar(35) and Sangeetha(28) residents of Udupi's Ambalapadi going back to their home after paying a visit to the Kolluru Mookambika temple.

According to police, their one and a half-year-old son was present there on the bus while the incident took place.

After being aware of the incident, the bus driver rushed to the Kundapura Hospital to save the couple.

At present, the couple is going under treatment in the government hospital of Udupi, but their condition remains critical.

The couple Basically from Tamilnadu and was currently staying in Udupi Ambalapadi. They went to Kolluru Mookambika temple and after coming back from there, they drunk the poison in running Bus.

Later this incident came to know by passengers to the driver, when he comes to know this he straightly drive the bus to kundapura Hospital to save their lives.
