A man married two women at the same time in the same mandap. The incident took place in Jogiara Gadtoli of Hisri Panchayat of Bagdu police station area of ​​Lohardaga district. The ceremony took place with the consent of all the three families involved.

​​Lohardaga (Jharkhand): In yet an unusual incident, in Jharkhand's ​​Lohardaga district, a man married two women at the same time in the same mandap. The incident took place in Jogiara Gadtoli of Hisri Panchayat of Bagdu police station area of ​​Lohardaga district. The ceremony took place with the consent of all the three families involved.

The groom, Sanjit Oraon had been in a relationship with one of the girls Rinki Oraon, a resident of the same village. The two had three children together out of wedlock. After a time, Sanjit fell in love with Kalavati Oraon, a resident of Hisri Panchayat. Both the girls came to know about the incident after some time after which they decided to get married in the same mandap. Both the girls informed their respective families. Sanjit also informed his family members and with the consent of the families, the three got married.

People gathered in big numbers and blessed the couples.

Earlier also, a Tribal groom from the Adilabad district in Telangana married two brides at the same time. Both girls wanted to get married to him and had no issues being wives to the same man. Adivasi tradition allows for such marriage.
