New Delhi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Tuesday.
"We discussed about the ongoing development projects in the state and about the upcoming Jharkhand Legislative assembly elections," Das told the reporters.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he would visit Jharkhand after September 15, as I have requested him to inaugurate the newly constructed Assembly building in Ranchi and multi-model terminal in Sahibganj," revealed Das.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister also met with Home Minister Shah and said that he too would be visiting the state in September.
"Amit Shah would visit Jharkhand on September 3 and would address the party workers up to the booth level," said Jharkhand CM.
As part of his engagements in Delhi, Das also attended a review meeting of State Nutrition Mission with Union Minister for Textiles and Women and Child Development Smriti Irani.
Das, on behalf of the people of Jharkhand also congratulated Modi for his historical move on Article 370 and 35A and said that the Jharkhand's population is happy with the decision.
