Ranchi: A four-your-old girl was allegedly raped by a 60-year-old man here under Sukhdev Nagar police station limits of Jharkhand on Tuesday.
Denanath Sharma, a resident of Vidyanagar reportedly, entered the house of the girl on Tuesday evening while her parents went to the market for selling eggs.
The family members came to know about the incident after the health of the girl deteriorated.
The girl informed the parents about being raped in their absence by the owner of the house.
The victim was admitted to Sadar hospital and the medical team will conduct tests on Thursday.
The accused has been arrested and a case has been registered under relevant sections of the POCSO Act.
