Ranchi (Jharkhand): An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale jolted Jharkhand's Singhbhum on Sunday.
National Centre of Seismology reported the earthquake occurred at 2.22 pm and was 10-kilometers deep. The epicentre of the earthquake was Jagarnathpur in West Singhbhum.
Abhishek Anand, scientist of Ranchi's Meteorological Center said, "the epicentre of the earthquake was 10-km below the ground surface. The tremors of the earthquake were felt in Jharkhand as well as in West Bengal and Odisha."

No casualties were reported yet, but residents across West Singhbhum reported violent tremors.
