Watch: Stones pelted on security forces during Pulwama encounter

Pulwama: Security forces were pelted with stones by youth during an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Ratnipora area in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a video, youths were seen running behind the forces' vehicles and pelting stones on them.

Earlier, two soldiers were martyred and three others were injured in a gunfight which broke out early morning on Tuesday.

One terrorist was also killed in the encounter.

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Ratnipora area of Pulwama in south Kashmir during the night following specific information about the presence of militants there, a police official said.

He said the search operation turned into an encounter after militants fired on the forces who retaliated.
