Jammu: Police said three youths were arrested Saturday for allegedly firing gun shots in the air outside Hari Niwas Palace here creating panic among people.
The search for their another accomplice is underway, a police spokesman said.
He said four youths, who were on their way out from the bar at Hari Niwas, fired gun shots in the air outside the hotel late Friday night. Later they fled from the spot in an SUV and a motorcycle.
A case was registered under various sections of the Ranbir Penal Code, including 366 (endangering life or personal safety of others), 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 34 ( acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) and under the Arms Act and, the spokesman said.
He said a police party worked on different leads, tracked and arrested three of the accused, who have been identified as Ishant Raina, Vivek Singh and Manik Nayat.
