JK: Over a dozen activists join BJP in Banihal

Welcoming them into the party fold, the party's district secretary Ramban Muhammad Saleem said their joining will further strengthen the BJP and asked them to render their whole-hearted services for the benefit of common masses as representatives of the BJP.

Ramban (Jammu and Kashmir): More than a dozen political and social activists from Banihal area of Ramban district joined BJP in presence of Bharatiya Janata Party's District Secretary Ramban Muhammad Saleem.

The people of the area have accused the previous governments of neglecting the area as the area lacks basic amenities.

One of the new entrants into BJP said that the area lacks basic facilities like roads, electricity and water following which the people of the area joined hands with Bharatiya Janata Party for the construction and development of the area.

Welcoming them into the party fold, the party's district secretary Ramban Muhammad Saleem said their joining will further strengthen the BJP and asked them to render their whole-hearted services for the benefit of common masses as representative of BJP.

"We hope that we will be able to construct roads for our village and bring electricity to every household and have clean and safe drinking water, we have pinned our hopes on BJP," said another entrant.

Modi's policies have benefited everyone from every region, he further added.
