With the Internet and mobile services constantly shut down, the general public is taking a great deal of interest in reading books, especially school and college students. A month ago in the Kashmir Valley, students who often used to spend most of their time on smartphones and laptops, are now studying books.

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir): After the removal of the special status of the Jammu and Kashmir by the central government, partial restrictions on the communication system are affecting every section of the ordinary life.

With the Internet and mobile services constantly shut down, the general public is taking a great deal of interest in reading books, especially school and college students.

It is to be noted that in the era of modern life, young people are often away from books. Online games on mobile phones, social networking websites, applications and net surfing due to smartphones and high internet access are the best choices for this generation to spend their time with.

A month ago in the Kashmir Valley, students who often used to spend most of their time on smartphones and laptops, are now studying books.

It should be noted that in the modern era, the trend towards publishing is quite low in the younger generation.

Students said that for the past one month after the communication system has been inactive and school were closed, they have been reading long-closed books in boxes and cupboards at home.
