Budgam (Jammu and Kashmir): An encounter is underway between a joint team of security forces and terrorists here in the Chadoora area of Budgam on Friday.

The security forces retaliated, a police official said, adding that the firing has stopped.
The terrorists attacked the security personnel from an orchard at Hardepora in Chadoora area, he said.
The area has been cordoned off and searches are on to track down the ultras, the official added.
On October 14, two terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces in the Chakura area of Shopian district.
