Paragliding, flying objects suspended in view of Modi's visit to Kullu

The administration in Kullu and Manali has banned all flying objects, including drones, in view of Prime Minister's visit on October 3. It has also suspended all adventure activities to make sure that the visit is incident-free.

Kullu: The district administration has suspended all adventure and other tourism-related activities till October 3 in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the region.

Modi is scheduled to come here on October 3 to inaugurate Atal Tunnel on the Manali-Leh highway, which has been built to ensure all-weather connectivity to people of the Lahaul valley. Police have banned all flying objects, including drones, on the day of the Prime Minister's visit. Tourists have also been advised not to go to upper areas in Manali till Modi's visit gets over.

Meanwhile, overall security has also been beefed up and all vehicles entering the district are checked thoroughly before being allowed.
