Special children train in skiing in Manali

Special Olympics Bharat trained 40 children with disabilities drawn from seven states in skiing skills. The training was conducted in Manali in Himachal Pradesh.

Kullu: Special Olympics Bharat trained 40 children with disabilities from seven states for skiing in Solanganala, Manali.

The National Special Olympic District management committee of Kullu who were involved in the camp that ran from 8 to 20 February, also reached Solanganala and cheered for them.

The committee members included Subhash Sharma, Sheru Ram, Mohan Bali and Jagdish Sharma who also met the special children from Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir and Telangana.

Subhash Sharma said that 40 special children from seven states and union territories of the country were trained under the initiative of Dr Mallika Nadda, President of the Special Olympic Association.
