Gurugram: Despite many efforts by the government, underprivileged children are devoid of education. The distance between them and school widens due to their financial conditions. But a school in Gurugram is reducing the distance by bringing education on wheels.
A mobile school in Gurugram is being operated by Sandeep Rajput who helps underprivileged children to have access to education. Sandeep came up with this idea when he noticed the disparity in society.
In an effort to help children have access to education, he came up with the idea of mobile school.
With time, many volunteers joined Sandeep in the cause and taught children in a van. There are five mobile schools in the district with a total of about 300 students.
Sandeep received help from many people who donated clothes, books and other essential requirements to run the school.
Geeta Chhabra, a retired school teacher is actively involved in the cause and teaches children in Gurugram.
Parents of the children are happy with the initiative. Such acts of kindness help blossom great minds.
