Hisar: Hisar-based mountaineer Rohtash Khileri, a resident of village Malpur, has once again succeeded in hoisting the tricolour on Mount Friendship Mountain located in Himachal Pradesh, showcasing the best of his talent.
Khileri was successful in climbing with his 12-year-old student, Anu Yadav at this peak.
Rohtash Khileri has set other groundbreaking records so far by his ascent to the summit of Mount Everest in Asia, Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe continent. Rohtash Khileri is the first Indian to conquer Mount Elbrus in both summer and winter season.
Rohtash Khileri wants to unfurl India's tricolour by lingering around 24 hours on the Mount Everest. He is currently on a mission of Seven Summits.
Khileri stated that he planned to go for a re-climb of Mount Everest on 1 April 2020, but his expedition was cancelled this year due to the Corona epidemic. So he decided to conquer the Friendship mountain near Manali in Himachal Pradesh.
On October 7, 2020, along with his 12-year-old girl Anu Yadav of Hisar, started climbing the Friendship mountain and on October 9, at 11:25, they waved the tricolour on the peak of Friendship Mountain.
Khileri has credited his success to his parents, Guru Ashok Shukla, sister Vikas Rana, Aman Verma, director of Aman Fitness, for their persistent support and efforts.
