Gurgaon (Haryana): A group of cow vigilantes brutally thrashed a 25-year-old man at Gurgaon in Haryana on suspicion that the latter was transporting beef in his vehicle.
The incident took place on Friday morning near Badshahpur village in Gurugram when the cow vigilantes managed to cease the pick-up-van after chasing it for about 8 km.

The driver Lukman was dragged out of the vehicle and beaten up savagely when police reached the spot to intervene, the violent mob started fighting with police and also damaged the patrol van.
Several videos of the incident have gone viral on social media, where it was shown that Lukman was allegedly attacked with a hammer and pleading to get relief.
Meanwhile, Lukman was rushed to a local hospital with severe injuries after the police have managed to take him away from the clutch of the cow vigilantes.
Later, other traders of the meat market informed that the meat was of buffalo, and Lukman was usually selling meat at the market.
A case has been filed, and, police have begun the investigation in the case. No arrest, however, has been done so far.
