Navsari (Gujarat): Surrounded by social responsibilities parents cannot give wings to their dreams, but they hope that their children will live their dreams. Something similar has happened in Navsari, where 21-year-old Puja Desai mastered cosmetic makeup to fulfil the dreams of her mother who has been involved in the beauty parlour business.
Inspired by her mother, who has been involved in the beauty parlour business for years, Puja Yashwant Desai, who has a degree in cosmetic makeover, competed in makeup competitions at the national level and received certificates.

However, in the hope of realizing her mother's unfulfilled dream and making a name for herself internationally, Puja tried to break the record of cosmetic makeup for 32 young women in the 8 hours recorded in the Guinness World Records last year. Puja applied cosmetic makeup to 55 young women for 8 consecutive hours on September 15, 2019, as per the norms given by the Guinness World Records team. Recently recognized by the Guinness team, the Guinness World Record has been placed in 2021.
Puja worked hard to get the Guinness World Record. Initially, Puja took more than 10 minutes to do a make-up. So she practised by applying makeup to several young women to reduce the time and trained one young woman to do makeup in 4 minutes. As a result, Puja Desai has made her name on the world stage, as well as made Navsari proud.
