Bharuch(Gujarat): Three- year old Princy at Bharuch Civil hospital waited for hours for her dead mother to wake up. The mother of the toddler fell seriously ill after she which was rushed to the Hospital from her residence in Dandia Bazar area of the city.
Unaware of her mother’s terminal illness, Princy was playing cheerfully beside her even after the mother breathed her last. The child continued her attempt to wake up her mother not knowing that the doctors had declared her dead.
According to sources, the hospital staff, patients and other relatives were also present when the child was trying her best to wake up her mother from her eternal sleep. Not knowing her mother was dead, Princy cajoled and prodded her mother to open her eyes, all but in vain.

Princy had lost her father some time back, and now after her mother's death, the child is left with no one. After Princy lost her father, her relatives refused to help the mother and the child.
However, a social worker has offered that Princy should be sent to an orphanage so that her proper care can be taken.
