Kutch (Gujarat): In a shocking incident, a man in Kutch of Gujarat allegedly murdered his wife and three daughters, all aged below 10 years, police said on Wednesday.
According to police, the accused poisoned his wife and later killed his daughters with a sharp weapon.
The accused is absconding since then.
The incident was reported from Jakhania village in Mandvi tehsil of Kutch.
According to police, there was a quarrel between Jakhu Sanghar alias Shivji and his wife Bhavna over some issue following which Bhavna created a ruckus outside their home fearing that Jakhu might kill her.

However, in the meantime, Bhavna's health deteriorated and neighbours rushed her to the hospital where she was pronounced brought dead. Taking advantage of the situation, Jakhu murdered his daughters, Dhrupti (10), Kinjal (7) and Dharmishta (2) and fled from the scene.
The reason the crime has not yet been established.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case against the accused and formed teams to nab him and Kutch Range DIG J. R. Mothalia, West Kutch SP Saurabh Singh, Bhuj Deputy Police Chief J. R has joined the investigation team.
