Bharuch: The world is in a panic state due to the coronavirus pandemic, but a hotel named ‘Corona’ has become the talk of the town.
Corona hotel which is opposite of the Bharuch railway station in Gujarat was established 12 years ago.
Though the hotel is closed amid lockdown, but is garnering attention of people because of its name.
Hotel owner Sakir Bhai said: “I had no idea while starting and naming my hotel 12 years back that it will known for the deadly coronavirus pandemic in the world.”
The word corona in Gujarat means crown or aura and people name their property as ‘corona’ as symbol of luxury.
“I pray to the god in the holy month of Ramzan to save the world from this coronavirus pandemic, “ said hotel owner.
