Surat (Gujarat): Only those girls can feel sympathy for women losing their hair due to cancer who love their own hair.
A girl from Surat has felt the pain of such women suffering from cancer who have lost their hair.
10-year-old, Devana Dave has donated her hair to a woman suffering from cancer and has become a source of inspiration for other girls to follow her footsteps.
Devana loves her hair so much that she has never gone for a hair cut since her childhood.
It was only after her hair grew to the length of 30 inches that she decided to cut them off to donate to women who have lost their hair due to cancer.
Devana has also joined the ‘Bald and Beautiful’ campaign for cancer patients.
Talking to ETV Bharat, Devana said that she has also worked for two web series and decided to donate her hair for women who have lost their hair due to cancer.
She had got an offer from one web series but refused it as she thought it was more important to donate her hair for the cancer patients.
Her mother Nikita Dave said that they were surprised when they came to know about Devana’s decision to donate her hair and tried to dissuade her but she remained adamant.
She even persuaded her to donate only a portion of her hair and not all, but this too did not persuade her to give up on her decision.
