Surat (Gujarat): In order to set an example before the society, A commando-couple of CRPF has decided to tie the knot in a mass marriage ceremony in Gujarat's Surat district. The marriage will be taking place on January 12.
The Commando couple have decided to marry in mass marriage ceremony to avoid unnecessary expenses in marriage which gives a unique message to the society and the country.
Speaking to media the couple said that they have taken this decision to avoid unnecessary expenses.
"I like this concept of mass marriage ceremony. It saves unnecessary expenses in marriage. It also reduces the burden of parents. So, these are the reasons that we have taken this decision," said bride-to-be commando Daya.
"We belong to a middle-class family. I don't like the concept of spending heavily on marriages. This mass marriage concept is very good as it saves people from unnecessary expenses," said groom-to-be Commando Beldiya Hardik.
