Gujarat: Warrior cop Dudhat resumes duty after defeating Covid-19

In an exclusive interaction with ETV Bharat, Gujarat SP Haresh Dudhat appealed people to motivate COVID patients and do not discriminate against them. He recently resumed his duty after winning the battle against coronavirus pandemic and became a real-time COVID warrior.

Ahmedabad: As the COVID-19 pandemic is gripping the entire nation, many corona warriors also became prey to the infection but without losing hope they befittingly won the battle against the disease and have become an extraordinary example of motivation for others. One such corona warrior is Superintendent of Police (SP) Haresh Dudhat.

Dudhat was given the special task of identifying super-spreaders of corona and to restrain them from spreading infection among people.

When he was in the CID Crime, he was sent to isolate super-spreaders in east Ahmedabad and later was shifted to Varachha in Surat.

Twenty days after moving to Police Training Center at Karai, he and his wife were tested positive for COVID-19. The couple decided to fight the battle and isolated themselves while remaining home quarantined and undergone medical treatment to contain the infection.

He asked his close contacts to monitor their health and undergo a COVID test if needed.

During isolation, doctors advised them to include Vitamin C and other necessary medicines in their protein-rich diet along with warm water.

Recalling his COVID days, he informed that people were scared of talking or helping him. They used to maintain distance or avoid him which being a corona warrior was disappointing.

Sharing his experience with ETV Bharat, Dudhat advised that people should not panic and appealed them to support the COVID patients by encouraging them with positivity so that they could recover fast.

After defeating coronavirus, SP Haresh Dudhat resumed his duty and has become an inspiration for others.
