Actress Payal Rohatagi arrested in Ahmedabad, granted conditional bail

Bollywood actress Payal Rohatgi, who lives in the Sundarvan Society of Satellite area, is in controversy after a complaint against her was lodged at the Satelite police station by the Chairman of the society. The actress was earlier arrested by the Satellite police station before getting a conditional bail on Friday evening.

According to the complaint, Payal Rohatgi has been living in the Sundarvan Society for a year and a half. All the members of the society were called to the AGM of the society on June 20. Payal Rohatgi was also in attendance although not being a member. So, Chairman Parag Shah told her not to speak at the event as her parents who own the flat should have come instead of her.

Following that, it is alleged, Payal Rohatgi misbehaved with the chairman of the society and threatened to kill him. She also used obscene language. After the incident, Payal allegedly sent a abusive message to the society's WhatsApp group and deleted the message.

According to the Chairman's complaint, Payal Rohatgi has been posting false messages about members of the society on her Instagram account since last March. It is also alleged in the report that Payal often threatened to trap the members of the society in false cases.

Meanwhile, Actress Payal Rohatgi has got conditional bail from the rural court. The court said that she can't make any controversial comments on social media. The court further set a condition that she must visit the Satellite police station once a month until the charge sheet is filed. Court has not allowed to change her address without court permission.
