New Delhi: Following the relaxation of unlock 1.0, Delhi's air quality have been deteriorated and Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 135, which is considered to be 'severe'.
Officials associated with the Pollution Control Board stated that post unlock 1.0, the vehicular traffic has suddenly increased on the roads of Delhi leading to increased air pollution.
Moreover, all the factories in the national capital and its surrounding areas are operating at their full capacity leading emitting hazardous smoke.
Officials further warned that air quality may get even more severe in coming days.
