Do you even know how much land is 78,000 sq kilometres? Sambit Patra questions Congress

"The Congress party is spreading rumours. I want to ask them do they even know how much land is 78,000 kilometres? If we combine two states of our country it would equal to the land that the Gandhi claims has been occupied by China and Pakistan," Patra said.

He highlighted several points including:

  • Congress party said Pakistan and China have illegally occupied 78,000 square kilometres. China has 38,000 square kilometres and Pakistan occupied more than 40,000 square kilometres of land under Sino-Pakistan agreement.
  • The Gandhi family has been raising questions on this issue for a long time now.
  • Both the dynasts (Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi) are spreading rumours on this issue.
  • I want to ask do they even know how much land is 78,000 kilometres. If we combine two Haryana, it will make up the land the Gandhi family is claiming has been occupied by the neighbours. And if yes, how did it happen. Whose government was there in the country when this happened?
