New Delhi: Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) General Secretary Madhaw Anand on Saturday took a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for welcoming six Arunachal Janata Dal (United) (JDU) leaders into the party.
"The way the JDU legislators have broken up in Arunachal Pradesh and the way the BJP has taken them in, I feel that there is more than what meets the eye. There has been a big mistake somewhere," Anand said.
Further lashing out at the saffron party, Anand said that if you [BJP] do not have a sense of respect for the allies, then you are not doing right by the coalition religion.
"CM of Bihar and National President of JDU, Nitish Kumar is a strong and settled leader and this is the reason that his alliance with BJP has been running for years. He has been the Chief Minister for 15 years and the public again gave him another chance. There has been a big mistake from BJP in Arunachal. JDU executive meeting starts today and I think these issues will be discussed seriously," Anand added.

JDU's ally BJP had reduced the former's political stature by winning more seats in the Bihar Assembly elections this time and now, in another blow, the BJP has included 6 out of 7 JDU MLAs in Arunachal Pradesh into the party.
The event has heated up the political corridors of Bihar where speculations are rife that BJP may break up and annihilate JDU altogether.
