Tihar Jail: QRT given shoot-at-sight orders to check gang violence

After Tillu Tajpuria's murder inside Tihar Jail, authorities have prepared plans for keeping rival gangsters in different jails. Also, QRT (Quick Reaction Team) is being deployed to prevent recurrence of such gang wars and homicides inside Tihar Jail. They will be given shoot at sight orders to ensure high security.

New Delhi: QRT (Quick Reaction Team) will now be deployed to ensure that there will be no incident like Tillu Tajpuria's murder inside Tihar Jail in the coming days. In this, CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) and ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) personnel will be deployed along with Tamil Nadu Special Police. They will have robust weapons like AK-47s. And in any such situation, they will also be given orders to shoot at sight.

It is being told that not only stringent action was taken against many jail officials after the gangster's murder, but now strict steps are being taken to strengthen the security system inside the jail as well. According to information received from jail sources, there can be 6 to 8 jawans in each team. Special care will be taken that these soldiers will be very effective in ensuring high security inside the jail premises.

The list of jailed gangsters is being prepared

The jail administration is preparing a list of big gangsters lodged in different jails of Tihar. In the coming days, they will be kept separately in accordance with gang allegiances. A gangster from a rival gang will not be kept in the same jail. These precautionary steps are being taken in view of the recent bloody gang war inside the jail and the incidents that took place as part of this. All four accused in the murder of Tillu Tajpuria have been shifted to another jail after this incident.

On the other hand, many gangsters lodged in Tihar are scared after the murder of gangster Tillu Tajpuria. He is pleading for security in the court. One of the names in this is that of gangster Deepak Boxer, who has pleaded for his safety in Delhi's Patiala House Court. He requested the court to shift him to another jail. In this regard, the Patiala House Court has sought an answer from the concerned Jail Superintendent. Along with this, the jail authorities have been directed to strengthen his security inside the jail.
