Northeast women harassed in Delhi; video goes viral

In the viral video, the Northeastern women can be seen confronting the group of middle-aged men for asking 'rate kya hai' (what's your rate) assuming them to be sex workers. The incident took place in Delhi's Hauz Khas area.

New Delhi: Yet another video of eve-teasing has surfaced from the national capital, where Northeastern women were seen confronting a group of men who harassed the duo in the Hauz Khas village area.

In the viral video, the women can be seen confronting the group of middle-aged men for asking 'rate kya hai' (what's your rate) assuming them to be sex workers. Later, those men were seen apologising to the women in the video.

Taking cognizance of the video, the Delhi Commission (DCW) for Women issued a notice to the Delhi police and filed an FIR against the accused and demanded their arrest. The Commission has also shared a copy of the FIR on Twitter.
