Moving car catches fire in Delhi's Shakarpur

A car caught fire in the Shakarpur area of Delhi today. The woman who was driving the car managed to safely evacuate it with the help of residents of the Shakarpur area.

Delhi: A moving Honda City car caught fire in the Shakarpur area here on Friday.

Woman who was driving the vehicle managed to save her life with the help of the residents of that area.

Three fire tenders immediately reached the spot after the incident happened.

According to information, the woman was returning from her office when the people noticed smoke coming out of the vehicle. They immediately stopped the car and informed the fire brigade about the mishap.

The fire tenders carried out fire extinguishing operations but the whole car was completely engulfed in flames.

However, the reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
