New Delhi: The final list of contestants for the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi is out now and a total of 164 candidates are in the mega political battle scheduled on May 12.
Interestingly, the candidates this time are not only from the political arena but also from sports and Bollywood.
From the Northwest Delhi, BJP candidate cricketer Gautam Gambhir will bat against Atishi from AAP and Arvinder Singh Lovely from the Congress.
On the other hand, three-time Delhi CM and Congress veteran Sheila Dixit is contesting from Northeast Delhi against BJP candidate Manoj Tiwari and AAP's Dilip Pandey.
Likewise, from South Delhi Congress candidate boxer Vijendra Singh is fighting against Ramesh Bidhuri from BJP and AAP's Raghav Chadha.
From Northwest Delhi, BJP candidate and singer Hansraj Hans is contesting against Congress' Rajesh Lilothia and AAP's Guggan Singh.
According to the list released by the district election offices on Friday, 27 candidates each are contesting from New Delhi and South Delhi Lok Sabha seats.

The minimum number of candidates is from Northwest at 11, while West Delhi has 23, East Delhi has 26 and Northeast Delhi has 24. From Chandni Chowk, there are 26 candidates in all.
After the retrenchment, a list of 174 qualified candidates was released, out of which 9 candidates withdrew their nominations.
