Meanwhile, government of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh have sealed their border anticipating any possible violence during the programme.

Talking to ETV Bharat on Wednesday, Hannan Mollah, general secretary of All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) said that more than 500 farmers organisations have jointly called the agitation.

"We have come together to protest against the Government policy. The government have adopted three anti farmers policy and one electricity policy against the agrarian population. We will not at all support the government's move," said Mollah.

He also criticised the Haryana Government for 'undemocratic process" to douse the agitation.

"This is not a people-friendly government in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. We register our protest against the government's policy for taking undemocratic action against people's voice," said Mollah.

He said that farmers organisations across India will organise their state-level agitational programme during the day.

It may be mentioned here that Haryana Government on Tuesday has issued a travel advisory for commuters at entry points from Punjab into Haryana.

The farmers' organisations have called for a two-day-long Delhi Chalo programme.

On Thursday, farmers coming from across India will meet at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.
