New Delhi: Ahead of Delhi election, in a BJP's election campaign at Sarita Vihar here on Tuesday, Union Minister Smriti Irani said that Arvind Kejriwal had promised a lot to Delhi people but he failed to fulfil them.
Attacking Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, the actress-turned politician said that Arvind Kejriwal had promised the people of Delhi that he would run 5000 buses on the roads, but he had stopped the road by organizing a dharna in Shaheen Bagh.
"The Delhi government had promised to give pure and freshwater to every Delhi people, which turned out to be false because dirty mud water is coming out of the taps in people's homes today. Kejriwal is giving poison to people for free and people are falling ill after drinking that dirty water," she said.
Smriti Irani also said, "the Chief Minister of Delhi has waged a war among the people of Delhi. He has made it clear that he is not standing with the people of Delhi but with Shaheen Bagh. Those who shout slogans of freedom of like Jinnah can never be the pride of our country".
Smriti Irani alleged that in the last 5 years, the situation of women security has also worsened in Delhi because the CM of Delhi himself says that his party's female worker is being molested.
"BJP government has recently allocated more than 3 lakh 60 thousand crores for women safety. If Delhi people will compromise with such policies of AAP then how will they protect the women and daughters of Delhi," she added.
