"The vote percentage in Delhi is decreasing and I am a little worried about it. I would like to appeal to all your viewers to go out and vote. Your vote holds a lot of power. Last time around, your vote changed the condition of schools and hospitals in Delhi. I would urge you all to come out in large numbers to vote so that the same development streak of can continue," Kejriwal told ETV Bharat.

On Smriti Irani accusing him of misogyny, the former bureaucrat said, "There was a misunderstanding. I would, again, appeal to all the women in Delhi to cast their votes."

"Women are often tasked with maintaining the household budget. They are the ones who have to pay the water bills, electricity bills, and school fees of their children. So, the party which helped them maintain their household budget must be voted to power. It is important for them to take the men of the family along with them to cast their votes, and they must also tell the men which party to vote for," added Kejriwal, who is seeking a third consecutive term as a legislator from the high-profile New Delhi Assembly constituency.

When asked if he is confident of retaining power, Kejriwal said, "If opinion polls are to be believed, it seems the public wants to cast their vote on the basis of the work done by a party."

In the 2015 polls, the AAP won a whopping 67 out of the 70 seats in the Assembly, and Kejriwal won his seat by over 31,000 votes, defeating Nupur Sharma of the BJP.
