Noida: A 65-year-old man on Sunday allegedly committed suicide here by jumping off the ninth floor of a building, police said.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
According to police, the incident took place in the Bisrakh area at around 10 a.m. The man was suffering from diabetes for a long time due to which he remained stressed.
On being informed about the incident, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the deceased elderly person. The police have sent the body for post-mortem.
Police have started the primary investigation into the matter and further investigation would be done on the basis of the family members' statements, a police officer said.
