New Delhi: Sikhs have expressed their displeasure over the appointment of a non-Sikh CEO for the Kartarpur Corridor, a religious place for Sikhs in Pakistan. Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Chairman Manjinder Singh Sirsa has said that this step is towards fundamentalism. He has demanded that Pakistan should withdraw this decision immediately.

By releasing a video on Tuesday, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that there is a limit for everything in his religion. The appointment of a non-Sikh person is illegitimate as well as an insult to the Sikh dignity.

Sirsa said that he wants to appeal to the Imran government that this decision should be withdrawn. Also, this information should be given to any Sikh or Sikh organisation.
