New Delhi: The Crime Branch of Delhi Police is keeping a close eye on the relatives of for suspended Aam Aadmi Party councilor Tahir Hussain, in connection with the murder of Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer Ankit Sharma.
Crime Branch sources said that during interrogation of Tahir Hussain, some names have come up, on the basis of which the Crime Branch team is moving its investigation ahead.
Sources associated with the crime branch said that the crime branch team is constantly questioning the North East Delhi violence accused Tahir Hussain and during interrogation, it has come to know that some of the relatives of Tahir Hussain also have a role in Delhi violence
On the basis of this information, Shah Alam, brother of Tahir Hussain was arrested on Monday.
The crime branch team is also questioning him.
Apart from this, call details of Tahir Hussain and his brother are also being investigated so that it can be found out with whom Tahir Hussain and his brother had been in touch during the violence.
With this, his location is also being traced.
According to what has come out so far, Tahir Hussain was hiding in Mustafabad area till February 27.
He then hid in Zakir Nagar area of Okhla. Despite hiding, he was constantly in contact with some people. A list of all such people is being made and the Crime Branch team can inquire them soon.
