Delhi Police help four-year-old celebrate birthday

To keep people smiling even during the ongoing tough times, Delhi Police, besides ensuring law and order in the city, is helping the elderly and children. They take care of them by inquiring and visiting them. In Dwarka, the police personnel went to a house with a birthday cake, the act which brought a smile on everyone's face.

New Delhi: The ongoing lockdown may have dampened the spirits of people in the city but Delhi Police, besides maintaining law and order, also ensuring some good time for children and elderly by arranging birthday cakes for them.

The Delhi Police personnel, who have to work for long hours during these difficult times, have been taking care of elderly and children by looking after them well.
In one such case, Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajender Singh of Dwarka sent his men with a birthday cake to a family in the area to help celebrate birthday of a four-year old child.

The child happily cut the cake as he celebrated birthday with his family and the police personnel.

The family appreciated the humanitarian gesture and thanked the police for making the child happy on his birthday.

The idea, sources say, is to keep public in good humour and to make people aware about the importance of lockdown to fight coronavirus successfully.
